  • I have worked with hundreds artists, including Morgan Rose, Arcane Roots, Jamie Lenman, Interlaker, and Idles.

    My passion for music and sound began when I played guitar as a child. I studied Music Production at the internationally acclaimed Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and later earned a BA (Hons) Degree in Music Technology from the University of West London.

    I have also collaborated on projects with notable producers such as Dan Austin, Adrian Bushby, Rupert Christie, Ade Fenton, Mike Fraser, Sean Genockey, Scott Harding, Dave Schiffman, Space, and Adam Noble.

    Career highlights include producing and mixing Arcane Roots' "Melancholia Hymns" for Easy Life Records and Sony Music. The album received significant BBC Radio One airplay, with two singles featured as Annie Mac's 'Hottest Record in the World.' It reached number 6 on the Official UK Rock Chart. I was also an engineer on the 2010 Classical Brits NS&I Album of the Year "Only Men Aloud" and the Top 10 album from Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends.

    I believe I have an excellent rapport with my clients, fostering long-standing relationships. To produce the best possible records, artists need to feel relaxed and at home in the studio for their creativity to flow.

    Having been sitting on an album for over a year, City of Thieves had had an EP mixed by the legendary Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica, Slipknot), and mastered by Simon Francis. Wanting to get on and get the album finished, we contacted Chris - who had produced 2 EPs with our previous incarnation as Four Wheel Drive - and we were staggered by how good the mixes came out. He mixed 8 songs to complete the album, and we were so impressed that his mixes were as good as - if not better than - the most successful rock mixer in entire world!

    His mastering was so good that we even got him to remaster the Fraser mixes and were stunned at how much clearer they were than the previous masters.

    Chris provides huge sound, clarity, punch and ceiling shattering limits that compete with all the newest and loudest music out there, without any clipping, distortion or loss of drums! The guy is a machine!
